Edge-to-Edge Quilting In The Hoop

In this class, you will learn to do edge-to-edge quilting in the hoop on your domestic sewing/embroidery machine or you can reserve one of our classroom BERNINA 790s.

We have a variety of edge-to-edge designs to choose from in the shop.

Skill Details:	Intermediate
Requirements:	(1) Embroidery Hoop preferably 10" x 5 3/4" embroidery field or larger (2) Quilt Sandwich 20" x 30" (minimum) to 40" x 50" (maximum) pinned together smoothly with batting and backing 5" - 6" larger than your quilt top on all four sides. (3) Purchase your design in advance and have it loaded on a USB stick. We can help with this if needed. (4) Kimberbell or OESD paper tape. (5) Double-curve embroidery/applique scissors (6) Seam ripper (7) Thread (We recommend Isacord or Glide) (8) Two pieces of medium-weight, cutaway stabilizer to fit your hoop (9) Long flat-head pins (10) Scissors (11) Marking pen (air-erase, water soluble, etc.)
