Sew Pretty Volunteer

On July 27th, 2024 starting at 10:00 a.m. volunteers from all over Dallas, Texas will join together at Rocking Bobbin Quilt Shop to sew dresses for the non profit organization Dress A Girl Around The World.

The pattern, pre-cut fabric, thread, and instructions will be provided for you to sew the dresses. All you need to bring with you is your machine and any special tools that you like to work with such as scissors, seam rippers etc... The dresses can be sewn on a regular sewing machine, a serger, or a combination of both. If you don't own a serger you can finish the raw edges with pinking shears.

We have two different time slots that you can choose to volunteer from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
or 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
